A comeback????

I have been hearing these words spreading like a wildfire about the most anticipated Britney Spears comeback. I will be very happy for her if she'll make a comeback and will be able to entertain again. I just believe that she has this gift to perform. Let's admit it that she doesn't have the greatest voice of a singer but she have this something that makes the whole performance quite interesting.

For Britney Spears I wish her all the success in her upcoming tour for her New album CIRCUS.

Another historic event

Yup, it is officially over and America has decided the leader to lead the country for the next four years. It has been a long campaign season for all of us and now it has come to an end. Barack Obama is the chosen 44th President of the United States of America and will take over on the 20th of January 2009.

Congratulations to all and hope you will all do your job for the best interest of the people in America and work hand in hand to fix all these crisis we are all facing right now.

Just lovin' it

I saw this commercial a week ago and I even went back to know who were involved. I easily recognized Kobe Bryant, Michael Phelps and Alex Rodriguez but I can't name the other one but all these 4 guys had done an awesome job. I looked it up and found out the fourth guy which is Tony Hawk.
I just want to share this one to all of you.

The other day I saw another guitar hero commercial and I just couldn't believe it was Heidi Klum. She is just so natural with it and have done a terrific job.

Hope you all like it and Hope it brings smile to all your faces.

Wall Street Drama

What's up with the mess in wall street in these past few days? I have been constantly hearing this $700 Billion bailout which they can't agreed upon. The president is forcing them to make a decision sooner than they are asking for. Is the United State economy is really in big trouble? If it is, can we still rescue it with the $700 Billion bailout plan? America you decide and let you voice be heard!

Believe it or not

Yup very proud to say that the Tampa Bay Rays is on the top of their division over the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Believe it or not, the Rays are getting better each game where they just beat the Red Sox to retain the top spot of their division. Being the NUMBER 1 over the Yankees and Red Sox on September is the least you will expect but The Tampa Bay Rays did it and they deserve for it. Congratulations and keep rocking.

Ike ravages Texas

September is the hottest month and more likely hurricanes will occur and intensify. Just in the past month we already have quite a few storms passed by and hit the United States. Texas is one of the path for the Hurricane Ike which is howling ashore with 110 mph winds, Hurricane Ike ravaged the Texas coast Saturday, flooding thousands of homes and businesses, shattering windows in Houston's skyscrapers and knocking out power to millions of people.

From MSNBC
Monster storm
The eye of the storm powered ashore at 3:10 a.m. EDT at Galveston with 110 mph winds, just shy of a Category 3 storm. Because Ike was so huge — nearly as big as Texas itself — hurricane winds pounded the coast for hours before landfall and would continue through much of the morning, with the worst winds and rain after the center came ashore, forecasters said.

As Ike moved north later Saturday morning, the storm dropped to a Category 1 hurricane with winds of around 80 mph. At 11 a.m. EDT, the center was about 20 miles north-northeast of Huntsville, Texas, and moving north at 16 mph. It was expected to turn toward Arkansas later in the day and become a tropical storm.

Wilson Shaffer, chief of the National Weather Service's evaluation division, said the storm surge was smaller than predicted, but the region wasn't out of the clear as the storm continued on its path. The highest surge Saturday morning was about 13.5 feet at Sabine Pass in Texas, according to tidal gauges. The surge at Galveston was 11 feet, about half of what was predicted.

In Washington, President Bush said the federal government would coordinate with state and local officials to help. He said Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff would visit Texas as soon as weather permits.

commuter train wreck

I was just looking for the news this morning and saw this unfortunate news that Los Angeles is facing.

Quoted from MSN.com
"LOS ANGELES - Emergency crews found more victims early Saturday, boosting the death toll to 17, as they delicately picked apart the mangled wreckage of a commuter train that collided head-on with a freight train on the same track. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said Saturday that the number of injured remains at 135, with 81 people in hospitals.

Head-on collision
Metrolink spokeswoman Denise Tyrrell said the Metrolink train left Union Station in downtown Los Angeles and was headed northwest to Moorpark in Ventura County. The trains collided at about 4:30 p.m. in the Chatsworth area of the San Fernando Valley. "
